Dark Night of the Soul
A soldier sits defeated. He feels hopeless and alone. Weak from the battle he hangs his head and only sees darkness. If he only looked up, he would see a single star in the sky that would be his guide.
Card Meaning: You are in a dark period of your life. All things seem hopeless and bleak. You may be experiencing money, love or health issues that seem to overwhelm you. Now is your time for accelerated spiritual growth. Angels and spirit guides are at your side to help you. You will rebuild a tower of strength that has been devastated and you will come out with extreme spiritual growth and emerge into the light.
Reversed Meaning: Your spiritual growth is stunted at this time. You are not acknowledging the help being offered to you in your time of dispair. Instead of growing spiritually you are spiraling deeper into hopeless despair. When this card appears in your spread you are to be reminded to look up and see the light that will be your guide out of the darkness. Being of service to others will help you out of this dark period.
